this is my favorite song on newgrounds. your voice is both forlorn and innocent, it complements the sadness beautifully. i don't know of another artist whose style can convey such a complexity of mood, emotion and depth. listening to it is very much a pleasure

audio portal people don't seem to have much appreciation for grand orchestrations. I agree with you completely, this piece has a great sound already, and also has potential to grow further. Actually, your work in general is very high caliber and I wish more people caught on to that around here

Listen, right in the middle of playing this song a pack of wolves ran right into my house. Together, we all began howling tearfully in mournful symphony. This is a true story that shows the kind of power this song holds.

Elegant

Very beautiful. Very emotive. You manage to maintain a smooth, graceful background while elaborating on top of it with an increasing complex melody. If I'm not mistaken, you chose to emphasize the top melody wonderfully with a more powerful, brighter piano sound than the lower tracks, which draws subtle and appropriate emphasis to your melody.

I would only advise you to edit out the flat note at 1:06-:07 between the G# and A. It was a minor but jarring blemish which unfortunately interrupted my enjoyment of your piece.

10/10 of course. Good piano music speaks for itself.

Good solid structure. Your make good use of chord progression and sensible harmony. I'm impressed at the length and flow of the song, especially given it was synthesized through a scorewriting program.

You could do with a prominent melody. The composition feels discursive, transitioning without distinction. I believe a powerful melody is what captures the imagination within a framework of accompaniment that lead into them gracefully.

I would also advise that a waltz is meant to be much slower and gentler. Given the nature of sibelius, obviously dynamic are quirky to control. Nonetheless, a more moderate tempo and delicate human touch are necessary to serve this piece well.

Despite my criticism, your piece had hooked my attention early on. You have an intuitive understanding of piano and classical music. You are gifted in this and I very much look forward to hearing the progression of your work. 8/10 4/5

I was very impressed by the harmony you can accomplish with your voice. The way you sing and your piano accompaniments carry a melancholy which appeals to me greatly. Great job, this one goes right on my favorites list.
